This document outlines the consent collection and management process for SMS communications related to user hiring and recruitment activities.

Consent Collection Process

1. Initial Application Consent

  • Candidates provide explicit consent during the job application process through:
  • A mandatory checkbox on the application form
  • Clear disclosure text stating: "By checking this box, I consent to receive text messages from user regarding my job application and recruitment process. I understand that message and data rates may apply, and I can opt out at any time by replying STOP."

2. Double Opt-In Verification

Upon first contact, we implement a double opt-in process:

Initial Message: "Hi! I'm [Hiring Manager Name] from PRMI in [City]. We received your application and would like to discuss the Loan Officer position with you. Would you be interested in learning more? Reply YES to continue or STOP to opt out. Msg&data rates may apply. Max 5 msgs/week."

3. Consent Storage and Management

We maintain detailed records of consent including:

  • Timestamp of initial application consent
  • Screenshot of consent checkbox
  • Double opt-in confirmation timestamp
  • Opt-out requests and processing timestamps

4. Message Frequency and Content

  • Maximum 5 messages per week
  • Messages sent during business hours only (8 AM - 6 PM recipient's local time)
  • Content limited to:
    • Interview scheduling
    • Application status updates
    • Job-related information requests
    • Next steps in hiring process

5. Opt-Out Process

Clear opt-out instructions provided:

  • Every message includes "Reply STOP to opt out"
  • Opt-out keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT
  • Immediate processing of opt-out requests
  • Confirmation message sent upon opt-out
  • No further messages sent unless new consent obtained
